Event Details

 

 

Location

• This year's event will be at the Suwanee Town Center Park, located at the intersection of Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and Buford Highway.

• Course begins and ends in Suwanee Town Center

• Start Line - In front of City Hall - 5K starts at 8:00 am, and 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 9:00am

• Finish Line - beside City Hall

• Award Ceremony - Town Center Amphitheater

• 5K Course runs through Town Center and enters Suwanee Greenway at approximately .5 mile mark, heads west on greenway to turnaround point at Annandale Lane, with water stop on course at Martins Farm (both ways)

 

Racer Packet Pick-up

Save time on Saturday morning and avoid the check-in line.  Come to Big Peach Runing (Suwanee Town Center) on Friday, October 13th between 4pm and 8pm to pick up your runner packet.  For those who do not pick up on Friday, check-in will open on Saturday at 7:00am for 5K runners and at 8:00am for the 1 Mile Fun Run.

Extras

• All runners will receive a short-sleeve official race shirt

• 5K race is on a USATF Certified course (Peachtree 2016 qualifier)

• 5K race age has 10 age categories:  7-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-74, 75+, with 1st - 3rd place awards for both Male and Female, and overall Male and Female.

• 1 Mile Fun Run will have 1st - 3rd place Male and Female awards for 10 & below, 11-14, and 15+

• All 1st place winners also receive Girl Scout "Thin Mint" Cookies (of course.)

• Dress for our Girl Scout-themed costume contest – a sweet prize for the winner

• Visit sponsor booths/tables for more fun stuff
